I guess ye be a'wantin to know what we's a got for 'e in 2022?
Well I can't be telling ye too much of what we be going to do until we knows exactly what's happening with the pestilence! However I will tell 'e some of what we've already got figured out but keep it to yourself.
For a start the 2022 festival might just be a bit bigger than 2019, wi' more ships and more pirates but unfortunately word has already slipped out about this so we's expecting more members of the militia regiments to turn up wi' even more cannon!
Hopefully our friends, The Port Sunlight Sea Dogs should be on board again to get the halyards hauled and capstans turned wi' more shanties! That crazy crew of whalers; The Old Time Sailors will also be performing mob handed as usual, blasting the militia with sheer talent! Can ye hear them now?
There be a very special performance by them there Old Time Sailors on Saturday evening the 14th of May only. This will take the whole evening and vitalls will be provided. This'll be in our tented pavilion on the quay, We'll only let you in if ye've got a ticket; and they be strictly limited. For details look at our OTS Tickets page! (Press the red button! >)
LATEST SCUTTLEBUTT!
We be sorry to tell ye but Captain Tom Mason and the Blue Bucaneers won't be joining us after all this year due to health issues. Captain Tom is an old shipmate of the Conwy Pirate Festival and we hope to be able to to welcome him back next year if possible. Tom is probably the world's best known, and possibly, best pirate musician.

After 2019 the militia will
be turning up in greater strength but we reckon to give 'em a hot welcome.
We've recruited a few "extra" hands on deck for 2022 year and they're a right crew of heavily armed likely
lads.
Well you'll want to know what else we'll hopefully be a doing in 2022? There'll be all the usual entertainments; a great pirate party, loads of games and entertainments for all ages, barrel racing, sword fighting and lots of new stuff. Can't tell 'e about that just yet; don;t want the militia knowing too much, does we?
Problem with this page is that by telling you folks what be going on the militia gets to 'ear of it! We finds a nice tasty little ship to rob and then we find out cos the militia 'ave 'eard a whisper they've called in a revenue cutter to chase us down! Well that's what they thinks, we'll see about that on the day!
